Indian Citation Index (ICI) is a comprehensive multidisciplinary
citation index for the research journals published from India. Indian Citation Index
is developed by The Knowledge Foundation (a registered society) with the support
of M/s Diva Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.
India provides a significant contribution to the global knowledge but is not covered
and evaluated enough in the present international tools. ICI is a home grown abstracts
and citation database covering contents from around 750 top Indian scholarly journals
in sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. ICI is a comprehensive research
& evaluation tool for Indian literature.
Indian Citation Index database, just like its international counterparts, is an
abstracts and citation database intended to measure and perform two basic functions,
general literature search and evaluation using citations.
